Kirin Dale writes both science fiction and fantasy, and she loves to play in the gray area between the two.  She is currently exploring transmedia storytelling and how traditionally written stories (including her own) can be expanded into new mediums.

Kirin loves to travel and will find any and every excuse to visit Scotland.  Film editing, hockey, and off-the-wall productions of Shakespeare are among her other interests.

Kirin lives in the suburbs of Chicago, where she is hounded by her slightly mental labrador, Gracie.
